Volunteers at the Turkish Cultural Center – Syracuse (TCCS) prepared beautiful gift baskets including delicious Turkish cookies and dried fruits to share with 100 neighbors, friends, and community leaders for the Holiday Season.

Members of TCCS also prepared hundreds of homemade baklavas for neighbors, teachers, doctors, police officers, etc… Gift sharing is an important aspect of Turkish culture. It is a great way to renew old friendships and also initiate new ones. It allows the Turkish community to build bridges with the rest of the society.
