Police Appreciation Day Ceremony

Writer: TCCTCC

Updated: Jul 20, 2020

Turkish Cultural Center joined in the Police Appreciation Day ceremony at Crossroads Church on November 17, 2015

All members of our NYPD are invited to join for a great meal from local businesses.

Those who choose to serve in the NYPD make an untold number of sacrifices each and every shift. When they run from danger, they are the ones who run to it for our protection. From their own safety, to spending days and nights away from their own families, to even their own life, Police Officers are willing to make sacrifices that not everyone can make.

So Turkish Cultural Center takes time out to say thank you to our friends at the NYPD. We served our traditional dessert (baklava) and fresh Turkish Coffee.
