We had our first class of the year 2015. It was a wonderful environment with lots of delicious food. Our menu was delicious. We started off with the famous lentil soup; this soup is lovely as a winter warmer – filling and comforting.

Then we went on with Pasta with béchamel sauce.  Last but not least we learned dried stuffed eggplant which is famous in the eastern Turkey. Traditionally in Turkey, small long eggplants are cut in half, hollowed out, then put on strings and dried out in the sun. In the rural areas, it is not possible to find eggplant in winter, so this is a great way of preserving them.  It was a great fun evening with our students hope to see you next class and have a wonderful year…
