Ebru Art Workshop

Writer: TCCTCC

Updated: Jul 20, 2020

Turkish Cultural Center Queens continues to offer Ebru (Water Marbling) Art Session. New Session started on October 17, 2015. The lecture began by introducing the Ebru Art historically and culturally. Our guests explored one of the oldest art in the world and learned that the Ebru Art does not only have cultural significance, but also historical meaning.

After providing general information about the art, Instructor Mr. Mustafa Yasar taught how to practice the art. Attendees asked questions while watching the performance carefully. Then, trainees tried to perform the art and learned a few techniques. We look forward to see more art lovers in our next session, which will be held on November 7, 2015.
