‘Babam ve Oglum’ Turkish Movie Screening

On Wednesday night, Turkish Cultural Center Westchester in conjunction with Chappaqua Library organized a movie night open to the community free of charge. The movie called  “Babam ve Oglum” (‘My Father and My Son’ Turkish) played with English subtitles. Over 50 people watched the movie. A representative from the Turkish Cultural Center gave some insight to the audience explaining the unique story of the movie before the movie started and there was a brief Q&A seesion after the move. Attendants the movie along with their coffee and Turkish Delight.

“The movie was an opportunity for our members and community to get to know more closely Turkish Culture” said Joan Kuhn, program director of the Chappaqua Library.
