A Special Cooking Class for College of Staten Island Students

Writer: TCCTCC

Updated: Jul 20, 2020

On February 19, 2016, TCC hosted a special Cooking Class for College of Staten Island students from the Verrazano School. Besides the hands on cooking practice, students learned a little bit about Turkish culture and food. After a brief presentation about the Turkish Cultural Center Staten Island, TCC volunteers and the students had wonderful time chatting along with Turkish coffee and tea in the traditional Turkish room.

We hope they all enjoyed the time they spent at our center and we would like to extend our thanks to all the students. Also special thanks to Assistant Director of the Verrazano School Cheryl Craddock for her cooperation in setting up this Cooking Class.
