Turkish Cultural Center of Westchester participated in Serve&Learn: Volunteer Recruitment event on Friday. TCCW, at table #95, was one of 125 non-profit associations. Event started with the press conference held by Westchester CE Rob Astorino. Many people attended to the event from 2:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. to seek volunteer opportunities in field they found interesting and attractive. All of the associations were large associations in Westchester County. TCCW E.Director Murat Bayram expressed his thoughts by,
“I am so proud that we, as TCCW, are here showing that we are important part of the Westchester Community. This was our first time joining public fair and definitely not going to be last.

Objective of Event:
Volunteers from Turkish Community in Westchester, Aysun Engin and Merve Arici did a wonderful job at the fair by greatly presenting Turkish Cultural Center and its volunteer opportunities to the public. Our volunteers also helped by signing people up for TCCW’s email list of event and announcements.
Outcomes and Detail of Program:
The Program Director Sakir Keskin and E.Director Murat Bayram walked through the other associations to get more information on volunteer opportunities in Westchester County to bring Turkish Community participate in such programs.
