The cooking club on Friday March 12, 2010 was a success. The menu was Tiramisu, Salep, which is a hot and creamy Turkish drink, and stuffed grape leaves.
Participants rolled grape leaves stuffed with rice, tomatoes, pepper paste, onions, parsley, olive oil and seasonings including salt and pepper. Salep is one of the most popular drinks in Turkey and stuffed grape leaves are one the most popular foods in Turkey.
