PII Center for Interfaith Affairs organized this month Abraham's Table discussion forum on January 26 Thursday. The program had a nice attendance. It started with a delicious dinner on Abraham's Table.

Later those who came around Abraham's Table had a chance to learn about Christian and Muslim perspective on the birth and descension of Jesus. First speaker Rev. Joshua Hollmann, Christ Lutheran Church, gave a brief biography of Jesus's life and talked about the general Christian view on the topic. Then he pointed out the related references from the bible. Second speaker of the night, Ibrahim Sayar, director of the Center for Interfaith Affairs, showed a video presentation on the birth of Jesus. He later gave power-point presentation on the descension of Jesus according to Islam. After a very active question and answer session, attendees left to come together again on feb. 23 for another Abraham's Table.
