IMG_49311On Saturday, May 5,2012 Turkish Olympiad award ceremony was held in New York. First Turkish Olympiads in New York had started in year 2007. This year's ceremony had hundreds of new attendees who were very anxious to see the event. But unfortunately many could not get in due to high interest for the program.The event brought people together from all walks of life, including students who were competing and their families, academicians, elected officials and etc.

DSC_04961On February 17, 2012 another Turkish Coffee Night was held at The Turkish Cultural Center of Rochester. More than seventy people attended the Mediterranean region of Turkey themed event. Turkish community meets with their dearest friends in the lovely atmosphere of TCC.

Nassau County Executive and the Turkish Cultural Center of Long Island (TCCLI) have celebrated the "Turkish RepublicDay” event on Friday, November 4, 2011 in Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building.

DSCN30971TCC Buffalo hold its monthly Coffee Night on February 25th, Saturday. The theme of this month’s “Turkish Coffee Night” was “Turkish Tea”. There was a presentation on Katharine Branning's book on "An American Woman’s Letters to Turkey: Yes, I Would Love another Glass of Tea". In addition, there was a demonstration on how to prepare Turkish tea. Attendees tasted delicious and healthy Turkish cuisine, and enjoyed company of our friends from different communities.
