The evening started of with a full crowd. The large auditorium had about 400 seats all of which were nearly full. The audience looked very ethnically diverse, truly representing the New York City ‘melting pot’. The topic of the evening at the museum was Islamic Art.
Turkish Cultural Center was part of the fourth annual Coffee and Tea Festival this year again. The program was held on Saturday, February 25th and Sunday February 26th, 2012.

Turkish Cultural Center New York hosted its monthly Turkish Coffee Nights series at its 5 th avenue location together with some of the NYIT graduate students who has visited Turkey during the summer of 2010 for a study abroad program which included academic coursework, cultural emersion and field study experience. Guests enjoyed the fresh and delicious Turkish coffee while listening to the presentation of the science in school counseling students about their experiences at the Bogazici University, Fatih University in Istanbul, Ege University in Izmir and Hacettepe University in Ankara.
