Women from the Turkish Cultural Center visited Wesley Gardens Nursing Home on Easter Sunday. Esra Gedemenli discussed the importance of visiting relatives and the elderly on holidays in the Turkish tradition.
The Easter Sunday visit allowed Turkish Cultural Center to visit senior citizens on their special day which helped to promote dialogue among different traditions. The senior citizens were very excited about receiving Easter cards from the Turkish Cultural Center. They asked for them to visit again soon.
