On Tuesday December 22nd 2009, the Women’s Council of the Turkish Cultural Center visited St. John’s Home, a nursing home, in Rochester, NY.
Several senior citizens were given holiday cards and flowers from the Turkish Cultural Center. The cards wished the senior citizens a Happy New Year and warm wishes for the holiday season.The senior citizens were very excited to receive cards and flowers, and they asked for future visits by the Center. Future visits to the nursing home are being planned.
