IMG_1225The Turkish Cultural Center of Long Island organized Iftar Dinner at the Uniterian Church that brought in a lot of guests. Month of Ramadan is a holy month for the Muslim people where TCC members of Long Island had given an Iftar Dinner for church members.

Outcomes and Detail of Program:

 

The Turkish Cultural Center of Long Island organized Iftar Dinner at the Uniterian Church that brought in a lot of guests. Month of Ramadan is a holy month for the Muslim people where TCC members of Long Island had given an Iftar Dinner for church members. Cem Kuscu who is a PHD student at Stony Brook was the master of ceremony at the Iftar program. Around fifty people participated at the wonderful dinner night where Mr. Kuscu briefed church members about the month of Ramadan, fasting and he also answered their questions.

Jo Ann Barret Reverend of the Uniterian Church “I’m so glad of this Iftar Dinner that helped us to understand the importance of Ramadan and fasting that Turkish Cultural Center organizes”, said.

Some of the church members “We are so happy that you have break your fasts with us at the church in this holy month of Ramadan”, said.

Turkish Cultural Center Vice President Davut Yilmaz “I thank Jo Ann Barret and all Uniterian Church members for having us here”, said at the Iftar Dinner Program.

“I have always been interested with Turkish Cultural Center’s programs and I thank you all for doing such a beautiful Iftar Dinner program here at my Church”, said Jo Ann Barret. Davut Yilmaz was awarded a gift symbolizes peace by Reverend Barret.
