IMG_27161_copyThe best way to learn different cultures is to visit their countries of origin. Turkish hospitality, rich archaeological and historical sites, and seaside resorts attract more than 30 million visitors each year.

Every year,TCC Albany organizes Intercultural trips to Turkey to promote intercultural dialogue and understanding.

Intercultural Trip to Turkey has been specifically designed for academics, politicians, bureaucrats, community service providers, journalists and other related professionals to enhance their multicultural experience as well as intercultural relations between the American and Turkish societies.

The trip aims providing the participants with original intercultural experience at the meeting place of the West and the East. Secular and democratic Turkey is home to a mosaic of different cultures, religions and ethnicities, and as such provides a living example of peaceful coexistence of different communities. The trip includes visits to the historic sites that have significance in Jewish, Christian and Muslim traditions, interactions with the local people, and meetings with academics and local officials such as mayors and governors.
