March 31 2012 - The Turkish Cultural Center Long Island (TCCLI) has organized the Henna Night (Kına Gecesi) at its Deer Park location. It’s been attended by many people. Turkish Cuisine has been served to the participants.
Mangano has declared the 29th of October as the Turkish RepublicDay in Nassau County and it will be celebrated every year. Nassau County Executive and the Turkish Cultural Center of Long Island (TCCLI) have celebrated the "Turkish RepublicDay” event on Friday, November 4, 2011 in Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building.
As of 2010-2011 calendar the Turkish Cultural Center of Long Island started to have Turkish Cultural Nights. It brings the residents and community members together where they can learn more about our culture by giving presentations about each city of Turkiye (Turkey) on each night. Everyone has the chance to taste our delicious snacks and Turkish coffee and tea.
