IMG_08661Turkish Cultural Center of Long Island branches held Diversity and Cross Cultural event at Longwood Jr. High School on Friday 17, 2012. Three volunteer from Turkish Cultural Center performed Power Point Presentation to students and faculties. The goal of this presentation was to inform the students about Turkey and Turkish Culture. Vice President of the Turkish Cultural Center Davut Yilmaz stated that this kind of Diversity and Cross Cultural events are very important because there is only way to understand each other is through communication.

TCCLI hosted “An Evening in Ecuador” to share Ecuadorian culture and traditions. The ultimate goal of this event was to share experiences of various ethnical, genders, religious, and cultural groups and listen to one another.
