After 10 years from the 9/11 attacks who took away innocent people we as community members thought about having our own 9/11 Commemoration Program that will be beside those that we already attended at different locations, institutes and governmental offices. The Turkish Cultural Center has always been and will always be one of the most active non-profit organization that will bring communities together and brigde the gaps among them.

Abstract:

After 10 years from the 9/11 attacks who took away innocent people we as community members thought about having our own 9/11 Commemoration Program that will be beside those that we already attended at different locations, institutes and governmental offices. The Turkish Cultural Center has always been and will always be one of the most active non-profit organization that will bring communities together and brigde the gaps among them.

The center brought distinguished guests, families and friends. We had special speakers; Mehmet Kilic who is the VP of Turkish Cultral Center of New York, Aiman Salih representing Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, Reverend Jo Ann Barrett and (kimleri daha yazmak istiyorsaniz buraya ekleyin).

Some families said " We're so happy that the Turkish Cultural Center is remembering those that we have lost back in 9/11/01 at one of your centers ". All speakers ended their speeches with these words, " We will always be united and work together no matter what background, color, race and religious view we have, God Bless America ".
