Festival of nations is an organization that brings together a rich diversity of cultures ranging from Haiti to Korea and from Nigeria to Netherlands in Albany, NY. This year marks its 40th anniversary and was participated by 25 nations. Turkish Cultural Center of Albany successfully represented Turkey. All the participating countries had an opportunity to represent their ethnic food and souvenir (e.g. jewelry, clothing, pottery, etc.). Visitor showed a great interest to Turkish booth where pottery, jewelry and other characteristic souvenir were displayed. The most attractive part of the festival was the traditional folk dance performances of nations. Turkish folk dance performed by weekend school students from the Turkish Cultural Center of Albany.
