2nd Annual Neighborhood Appreciation Dinner

2nd Annual Neighborhood Appreciation Dinner was held at the Turkish Cultural Center Rochester by the Peace Islands Institute with over hundred guests.

We want to thank to Brighton Town Supervisor, Bill Moehle, Monroe County Chief Deputy, David Phelps, Prof. Matt Temple from Nazareth College, Marine Colonel Matt Nafus and Mary Chao from D and C and the representative from many different community and religious organizations; AmeriCorp, Diane Watkins from 19th Ward, Dewey Corridor Neighbors, Gregory Bouie and Betty Johnson from Judical Process Commission, Imam Ismet Akcin from Islamic Center of Rochester, Dr. Celenli Muslim Chaplain at UR, Representatives from Somalian, Burmese, Syrian Communities.

We also want to thank to live music performers who played Ney (Sufi Music) and Baglama and our sponsors, TCCR, Women Council, Bestfit Menswear, Thimble Tailor, Silk Bridal and Elite Auto for their support. Great food, great people, great music, great Program and yet, another great chance to be THANKFUL !!!
